The General Secretariat of the Arab Women’s Association in the Maritime Sector held a virtual symposium entitled “Towards Empowering More Creative Maritime Sector.”
With the presence of His Excellency Eng. Muhammad Ahmad Salman, General Director of the Jordanian Maritime Authority,

and Ms. Shireen Galal, Director of the General Secretariat and Member of the Executive Council of the Arab Women’s Association in the Maritime Sector AWIMA,

on Sunday, July 12, 2022 at eleven o’clock in the morning, Arab Republic of Egypt time, on the sidelines of the Association celebration Of the International Women's Day working in the maritime sector 2022 .

The symposium dealt with several topics, where

1- Dr. Abeer Murad, Director of Institutional Communication and Public Relations at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Arab League for Communication and Public Relations, spoke about the professional behavior of businesswomen, business etiquette and building personal identity.

 

2- Mrs. Zainab Ben Salem, an official at the Merchant Marine and Ports Office in Tunis and a certified life coach, spoke about the keys to excellence among businesswomen. And how women break into the world of technology.

 

3- Mr. Mahmoud Mansi, a lecturer and trainer at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, spoke about the fundamental challenges facing women in the maritime sector, sustainable development goals and social responsibility in the maritime sector.

 

The seminar was moderated by Ms. Wafaa Al-Mamouni, member of the Executive Council for the Administration of the Arab Women’s Association in the Maritime Sector, and the Association records officer, at the Jordan Maritime Authority.
