Participation of Eng. Noha El-Tekatly, Member of the Egyptian National Chapter of the Arab Women in Maritime Association (AWIMA), in Developing Marine Pollution Response Systems and Speaking at Specialized Events at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport

Eng. Noha Abdullah Hassan El-Tekatly, a member of the Egyptian National Chapter of the Arab Women in Maritime Association (AWIMA Egypt), participated in several specialized maritime activities, contributing to the management of oil spill response systems and enhancing rapid response mechanisms for marine pollution incidents.
She also participated as a speaker in the 5th Maritime, Oil and Gas Industry Gathering, held at the Department of Marine Engineering and Offshore Platforms – College of Engineering and Technology – Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport on 13 November 2025, where she presented her expertise in environmental sustainability and marine pollution management.
Her contributions to the development of the environmental system at the Port of Alexandria were highlighted during the event, reflecting progress toward strengthening environmental compliance in Egyptian ports.
This active role highlights the growing contribution of women professionals in advancing marine environmental protection and sustainability within the maritime sector.
