Maritime SheEO Leadership Programme is expected to launch in March 2022 - Apply Now !

Dear AWIMA Members

I'm pleased to update you that despite the delay the Maritime SheEO Leadership Programme is expected to launch in March 2022 (supported by IMO through the award of  20 scholarships to develop the careers of women in the maritime sector). We have several spots still open and wanted you to offer this once again to your members to avail of this opportunity,

 

This sponsorship will enable selected women in maritime, to benefit from this leadership scheme, which will include training, mentoring and networking opportunities. This forms part of the wider outreach strategy of IMO’s Women in Maritime Programme to provide women with access to short upgrading courses, similar to those offered for women in port management and operations.

The programme is eight weeks long and starts March 2022 and runs for 8 weeks . The participants will then have a 4-5 week break wherein they have to complete the self study modules and make presentations on their projects followed by an online graduation.
