AWIMA Members Participate in WISTA International Webinar on Building Confidence and Professional Influence

As part of the Arab Women in Maritime Association (AWIMA)'s ongoing commitment to professional development and capacity building, members of the Association participated in the WISTA International webinar entitled:

Elevate Your Influence

held on Wednesday, 1 July 2026.

The webinar explored the importance of self-confidence in the workplace, addressed the challenges of Imposter Syndrome, and provided practical strategies to overcome self-doubt and strengthen confidence and influence in both professional and personal settings.

The session was delivered by Olivia Cullen and Jenny Thwaites, who shared practical insights and interactive approaches to developing confidence, leadership presence, and effective communication.

This participation reflects AWIMA's continuous efforts to connect its members with international learning opportunities that enhance leadership skills, empower women in the maritime sector, and support the development of future maritime leaders across the Arab region.
