Attendance of AWIMA Egypt National Chapter Members at a Workshop at the Port Training Institute Celebrating Egyptian Seafarers’ Day 2025

Members of the Egyptian National Chapter of the Arab Women in Maritime Association (AWIMA Egypt) attended a specialized workshop organized in cooperation with the Port Training Institute, held alongside the celebration of Egyptian Seafarers’ Day on 25 June 2025.
The workshop, titled:
“Enhancing the Efficiency of Egyptian Seafarers in Light of Technological Advancements,” focused on developing maritime professionals’ skills to keep pace with rapid technological changes in the maritime industry.
The event was attended by senior maritime leaders and included the recognition of distinguished figures in the maritime sector, as well as honoring the families of martyrs in appreciation of their sacrifices.
Discussions emphasized the importance of continuous training and capacity building for seafarers to enhance their competencies and adaptability to digital and technological transformations.
AWIMA Egypt’s participation reflects its commitment to supporting maritime professionals, promoting awareness, and actively engaging in national maritime events.
