Biography

My career started since 1985 when I was recruited as an Accounting                and Auditing Specialist, then as a Head of Budget Section in Maritime Transport Sector. To continue my advancement and progression in my profession I applied for a Master Degree in Legal and Commercial Transactions and Logistics in Maritime Transport. I received my Master Degree with Honors from the Arab Academy for Science and Technology & Maritime Transport.

I was appointed as the General Manger of Finance and Arab and foreign Investments in the Maritime Transport Sector; as my job entails coordination with Egyptian Port Authorities to establish investment project plans for Egyptian ports, prioritize, promote, and fund them. Subsequently, I had the honor to serve as Acting Head of Central Dept. of Planning in the Maritime Transport Sector.

During the course of my career I have participated in a vast number of meetings and conferences on both the Arab and International levels. I have participated in Arab Women Working in Maritime Transport Forums with the purpose of supporting and empowering women and creating equal opportunities for both sexes.

During the Regional Conference of in Arab Women Working in Maritime Transport which was held in Alexandria October 2017 in Alexandria I was appointed as a member of the board of the Arab Women in Maritime Association (AWIMA).
